These pages were developed
by Torre Wenaus using conventional HTML,
style sheets,
and with some use of JavaScript and Perl CGIs.
Development tools used at one time
or another include... (last updated in the early 2000s)...
- These days, having happily returned to Macs, a PowerBook
- The indispensable
GNU emacs editor on Linux or Windows.
With ange-ftp, great for editing raw HTML at remote sites.
- BBEdit, occasionally. Haven't really got in the habit
- The HomeSite HTML editor, a
great product for those who work with HTML directly.
Not used in a long time.
- Arachnophilia,
a good free ('careware') alternative to HomeSite. Also not used
in a long time.
- Various Dell laptops
- Until finally retired in 2002, a
flawless 1996 Gateway Pentium
Pro running Windows95
- In the distant past, my extinct 68040 Mac
ISP experiences with the multitude of ISPs
I've tried over the years. Now it's easy: cable modem and Amazon cloud.
Feedback and problem reports
welcome.
